Welcome to Rodeo Playground, an imaginative fusion of Country and Hip-Hop music, set against a backdrop of traditional American visual elements.
As a Brand Designer, my goal was to create a comprehensive visual identity for this fictional music festival, capturing the essence of these two vibrant genres through innovative branding, merchandise and promotional materials.
My aim while creating Rodeo Playground was to design a fictional music festival capable of capturing the sudden rise in popularity of country music, evidenced by its rise in international charts and the incorporation of some of its elements by hip-hop and R&B artists into their new songs (such as Beyoncé and Post Malone).
The festival's brand identity is therefore inspired by the rich cultural tapestry of Americana, blending the rustic charm of country aesthetics with the bold, urban energy of Hip-Hop and R&B.
This project was elaborated as a test to harmonize contrasting styles into a cohesive and engaging brand.
From rustic typography and traditional patterns to dynamic merchandise, every detail has been crafted to bring this fictional festival to life.
